Mongolia, Serbia Discuss Expanding Transport and Economic Cooperation

State Secretary of Mongolia’s Ministry of Road and Transport Mr. M.Bayarmagnai met with Serbian Foreign Ministry State Secretary Damjan Jović and his delegation to discuss expanding bilateral economic and transport cooperation.

The two sides highlighted the 70th anniversary of diplomatic relations between Mongolia and Serbia this year and noted growing cooperation across multiple sectors, including trade, infrastructure, and development policy coordination.

Serbia expressed interest in signing several cooperation agreements during the upcoming visit of its foreign minister to Mongolia, including a bilateral road transport agreement between the two governments. Mongolia emphasized its interest in strengthening connectivity with European transport networks through cooperation with Serbia, which is located along the Pan-European transport corridor.

Both sides agreed that transport and logistics cooperation could create broader opportunities for economic partnership in the future.
