Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/ In the margins of his official visit to Mongolia, Speaker of Japanese House of Representatives Tadamori Oshima visited the new airport being constructed in Khushig Valley, Tuv aimag today, July 19.

Following a presentation on the construction progress and operations by Yasushi Katsurajima, Project manager of the contractor company, Speaker Oshima put some questions which were answered by D.Ganbat, Minister of Road and Transport Development.

The New Ulaanbaatar International Airport is expected to start operation in August 2018, and expansion of the airport is possible. The ongoing construction of highway connecting the airport with the capital city is scheduled to wrap up in time for the inauguration of the airport.

As such, Speaker Oshima concluded his visit to Mongolia today.
