The "2025 Suwon ITS (Intelligent Transport Systems) Asia-Pacific Forum" was held in Suwon, South Korea.

Over 30 countries from the Asia-Pacific region are participating in the assembly under the theme “Hyperconnected Cities through ITS.” Deputy ministers from 12 countries, including Malaysia, Nepal, and Vietnam, are presenting their visions for digital transformation and intercity connectivity based on ITS

From Mongolia, the State Secretary of the Ministry of Road and Transport, Mr. Batbold, attended the forum. During the event, discussed trends, policies, and strategies for ITS development in Asia and globally.

Mongolia introduced two new regional proposals during the forum:

• “First: A proposal to establish a unified insurance system for Asia-Pacific countries based on intelligent transportation systems.”
• “Second: A proposal to create an integrated platform for international transport and logistics across the Asia-Pacific region.”

Participants of the forum expressed their support for Mongolia’s two regional initiatives and confirmed their willingness to collaborate on their implementation.
