A new feasibility study has been conducted, including six engineering and geology studies. Geological drilling was performed at 42 locations, every 500 meters, to assess soil conditions for the construction.
The Ulaanbaatar Metro will operate on a 19.4 km line from Tolgoit to Unity Park, including 15 stations and a maintenance depot. Once operational, the metro will carry up to 17,200 people per hour in one direction during peak hours.
