The Government of Mongolia has received financing from the World Bank toward the cost of the Mongolia Transport Connectivity and Logistics Improvement Project (P174806) and intends to apply part of the proceeds toward payments under the contracts for Project roads Package 1: Eastern and Western Regional Road Network Rehabilitation works including above mentioned two lots works under the contract conditions of FIDIC Conditions of Contracts for Plant & Design-Build for Electrical & Mechanical Plant & for building & Engineering Works Designed by the Contractor (“Yellow book”), Second edition 2017.
The Ministry of Road and Transport Development (MRTD) now invites sealed documents for initial selection from eligible applicants for Package 1. Eastern and Western Regional Road Network Rehabilitation works: (i) Lot 1-1: A0501 Ulaanbaatar-Undurkhaan 68 km road rehabilitation works, and (ii) Lot 1-2: A0302 Arvaikheer - Bayankhongor 35 km road rehabilitation works.
Initial Selection will be conducted through the International Competitive Selection/ Bidding Procedures as specified in the World Bank’s Procurement Regulations for IPF Borrowers, November 2020, and is open to all eligible applicants as defined in the Procurement Regulations.
Interested eligible Applicants may obtain further information from the MRTD at the address below during office hours 09:00am to 05:00pm local time. A complete set of Initial Selection Documents in English may be purchased by interested Applicants on the submission of a written application/request to the address below and upon payment of a nonrefundable fee of Three Hundred Thousand Mongolian Tugriks (MNT300,000.00). The method of payment will be in bank transfer to the following account:
