The Minister Byambatsogt Sandag signed the Air Services Agreement between the Government of Mongolia and the Government of the State of Qatar on Tuesday, March 7, 2023 with his Qatari counterpart. The concluding of this agreement creates vast opportunities for the aviation sector cooperation between Mongolia and Qatar, including the establishment of direct flights, thus facilitating the development of tourism, business, trade and economic relations between the two countries.

This Air Services Agreement adds to 40 countries with similar treaty and it is anticipated that Qatar Airways, the world’s top-ranking airline would open direct flights to Mongolia soon.
