State Secretary Mr. Batbold Sandagdorj met with Ms. Alenka Sukhadolnik, Ambassador of Slovenia to Mongolia on 19 April 2022 and exchanged views and ideas on cooperation between the two countries in transport sector.

Secretary of State S.Batbold congratulated Ms. Alenka Sukhadolnik on her appointment as Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary to Mongolia and for  presenting her credential letter to the President of Mongolia.

During the meeting, the two sides specifically emphasized on the signing of the agreement between the two governments on road transport in 2021, which would play an important role in the smooth running of road transport operations and support for road carriers which has been stimulated by the growth of economic cooperation and trade between the two countries in recent years.

The Mongolian side shared about its options for carrying out transportation from European countries in the light of current situation, government policies aimed towards supporting Mongolian road carriers involved in transportation activities.

The Ambassador vowed her support for the development of transport cooperation between the sides and informed about joint plan on organizing series of events in the framework of celebrating the 30th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relationship between Mongolia and Slovenia in February next year, including bilateral business forums and exchanges.
