This publication of Bid Result follows ADB’s no objection to the Contract Awards for CW1-2: 45.5 km road section from North of Khar modot pass to Urikhan and CW1-4: 45.08 km road section from Sumber intersection to Tsaidam valley of Package CW1: “Reconstruction of Route Ulaanbaatar-Darkhan Road” on 20 July 2021.
The Government of Mongolia has received a loan from the Asian Development Bank (ADB) to finance the cost of the Regional Road Development and Maintenance Project-Additional Financing. Part of the financing will be used for payment under the contracts for above mentioned work.
The open competitive bidding was conducted in accordance with ADB's Single-Stage: One-Envelope bidding procedure and was open to all eligible member countries of the ADB. Invitation for Bids (IFB) was advertised on local newspapers “Udriin Sonin” on 21^st January 2020. Also, it was published at ADB’s and MRTD’s website on the same day.
The date and time for the submission of bids were not extended and the reception of bids was close date 11.00 local time on 05 March 2021. Six (6) bidders submitted a total of nine (9) bids for the two lots as shown below:

Bids were opened as specified in the bidding documents at 12.00 hours 05^th March 2021 at the Ministry of Road and Transport Development.
The Ministry of Road and Transport Development of Mongolia (“the Employer”) now announce the result of Bid CW1-2 and CW 1-4.
