H.E. Mr. Ganbat Dangaa, Minister of Road and Transport of Mongolia met with H.E. Mr. Ahmet Yazal, Ambassador of the Republic of Turkey to Mongolia on 16 March 2017. 

Both sides stresses on the historic ties and relations originating many centuries ago and enjoying excellent progress of cooperation on modern times.

During the meeting Minister D.Ganbat expressed his satisfaction on the current status of cooperation in the fields of transport, especially in the area of roads, where Turkey and Mongolia have proven the example of successful collaboration by building several access roads to historical Turkic sights and artifact in Orkhon Valley in Mongolia and elsewhere.

Ambassador of the Republic of Turkey Mr. Yazal in return expressed his sharing of Minister’s comment on the ongoing relationship covering all aspects of political and social fields and stressed the importance of economic cooperation to strengthen bilateral ties further. Especially the ambassador pointed out there is more room to expand cooperation in the field of air transport and conveyed the Turkish side proposal to improve legal environment regulating the air services between the two countries.  

Ambassador Mr. Yazal also voiced his readiness to support any initiatives from the Ministry side to deepen transport sector cooperation and to encourage the Turkish businesses to come to Mongolia and also to promote interests of Mongolian businesses in Turkey.
