Minister Khaltar Luvsan met with the Ambassador of the Republic of Kazakhstan to Mongolia Mr. Jalgas Jumaevich Adilbaev on Thursday 04^th March 2021.

During the meeting the two sides exchanged their views and opinions on wide ranging matters of bilateral cooperation in transport sector many of which have roots from decades of successful partnership and collaboration.

Minister Khaltar Luvsan noted that the 8^th meeting of the Mongolia-Kazakhstan Intergovernmental Commission on Trade, Economic, Scientific, Technical and Cultural Cooperation was successfully organized in November 2020 and offered his close collaboration work together to implement many road and transport activities that had been discussed and agreed during the meeting. He further followed up on the ongoing discussions regarding possibilities of purchasing locomotives from Kazakhstan.   

Ambassador Adilbaev also expressed his willingness to support in furthering the bilateral transport cooperation and would notify the Kazakhstan side organizations on the matters raised by the minister. He also shared the Kazakhstan side position concerning the resumption of flights between the two countries.
